Service Description
The Senior Mobile Pantry Program (SMPP) was implemented to address the increased demand for older adults and other families in need of food assistance throughout the Inland Empire. Duties range from set up, checking in clients, distributing the food boxes, and clean up. This shift has a max capacity of 5 volunteers at a shift.

If unable to attend a pre-scheduled volunteer shift, please call or text our Volunteer Team Phone at (951) 396-0009 or email our Volunteer Team at volunteer@feedingamericaie.org if you have any questions. Please note: the phone is only monitored Monday-Friday 7 am-3:30 pm. Dress Code: All volunteers must wear jeans/pants, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes while volunteering. We recommend bringing your own water. For shifts that are not at the food bank and may be outdoors for extended periods, we recommend bringing sun protection. Volunteers must be over 18 years old to volunteer or 12-17 years old with a parent or guardian present.
