Service Description

Introducing our newest way to support our community! Our pantry now offers a volunteer opportunity to assist clients in selecting nutritious food and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. We need your help organizing and restocking shelves to keep our pantry running efficiently! Each shift has a max capacity of 6 volunteers.

Cancellation Policy

Volunteers must arrive on time and inform the pantry in advance if they are unable to attend a scheduled shift. If unable to attend a pre-scheduled volunteer shift, please call or text our Volunteer Team Phone at (951) 396-0009 or email our Volunteer Team at volunteer@feedingamericaie.org if you have any questions. Please note: the phone is only monitored Monday-Friday 7 am-3:30 pm. Dress Code: All volunteers must wear jeans/pants, a t-shirt, and closed-toed shoes while volunteering. Food Safety: Volunteers must follow all food safety guidelines, including wearing gloves and hairnets when applicable. Confidentiality: Volunteers must respect the privacy of clients and not disclose any personal information. Volunteers must be over 18 years old to volunteer or 12-17 years old with a parent or guardian present.
