As part of No Kid Hungry’s continuing efforts to ensure all children in the Inland Empire remain nourished and healthy, FARSB has received a generous $49,240 grant funding to help feed more children in the community through the SNAP or CalFresh program!

“No child should have to struggle with an empty stomach or stress about what they will eat again. This grant will help reach more kids with the food they need to grow up healthy, educated, and strong,” said No Kid Hungry Spox, Field Manager for the No Kid Hungry Campaign.

"SNAP funding is absolutely vital for families throughout the Inland Empire. FARSB is deeply grateful for the support of No Kid Hungry, which will enable us to increase SNAP enrollment at schools and ensure children receive ongoing benefits,” said Carolyn Fajardo, CEO at FARSB. “We look forward to collaborating with schools to guarantee that children have access to the food they need when they need it most," said Fajardo.

Thank you to No Kid Hungry for allowing us to fund our vital programs and ensure that every child in the IE is food secure. With their help, we can get more kids signed up for SNAP or CalFresh so no kid goes hungry because kids can’t learn on an empty stomach!
